Draupadi's Diary

Draupadi is one of the most remembered characters in the epic Mahabharat, yet the character's point of view was unheard. I illustrate the three events in Draupadi's life that defined her story.

Five marriages.

My mother said to me "You can chose to see yourself as an anomaly. A queen that rules over five kings, or you could see yourself as a thing that five brother share. Be kind to yourself and chose something that is easier to believe.

They lost me in a bet

I pray, that a million years later, my daughters won't be treated like this, and the mighty kings and queens wouldn't chose to be blind to our troubles..

After the War

We won the war and lost our sons. After all revenge comes at a price.
